All aboard Victory to the flower festival in Baguio

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Panagbenga, also known as the Baguio Flower Festival, is a month-long celebration that pays homage to the history, traditions and values of Baguio and the Cordilleras. Literally “a season of blooming,” the Panagbenga is a grand showcase of the many colorful and exquisite flowers the city is known for.

The Panagbenga Festival offers a smorgasbord of activities and attractions that will surely delight the senses. Watch out for the live theatre play of Camelot right on the Burnham Lake on Valentine’s Day. On Feb. 26, Session Road will be closed for a street party. Everything will peak on Feb. 27 as the colorful procession of flower-adorned floats with dazzling designs parade all over the streets of Baguio. The city’s hilly roads will also be transformed into bazaar strips showcasing an array of indigenous handicrafts and other authentic native products. There will be singing and dancing, tables will teem with lip-smacking cuisine, and pockets of laughter will once again waft through the city’s nippy air.

Victory Liner has helped Baguio City cope with the increasing demand for safe and comfortable transport to and from the summer capital. As one of the country’s biggest bus companies with the most modern buses and safety oriented bus drivers, Victory Liner will deploy an ample number of buses to bring all the visitors of Panagbenga up to Baguio. For those who want to travel to Baguio in style, its fleet of deluxe buses that come with plush seats and onboard restroom is a good choice.

Victory Liner is prepared for the Panagbenga. According to Marivic del Pilar, marketing head of Victory Liner, “Our buses will be adorned with flower stickers and we will give away floral fans for passengers to use as they watch the Baguio parade of floats. Panagbenga is fun and we try to join in the fun.”
