Waterfront Insular Davao has new F&B manager

MANILA, Philippines - Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao announced the appointment of Oliver Roemling as the hotel’s new F&B manager.

Oliver, a German national, is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He is a graduate of Hotel Management School and earned a Master’s Degree as hotel manager in Regenstauf City, Germany.

Roemling started his career in his native land Germany, where he was trained in various positions in the F&B department before he rose from the ranks.

As young as 16, Roemling was trained as a hotel specialist in Germany. He served as F&B manager in the Maritim chain of hotels and continued his career in Hoteldorf Gruener Baum in Austria, Hotel Belvedere in Scoul, Switzerland, and on the MS Bremen cruise ship. He became the F&B director of Parco San Marco Hotel in Italy.

Before joining Waterfront Insular Hotel, Roemling was the F&B manager of Thunderbird Resorts & Casinos in Binangonan, Rizal.

In his 20 years of experience, Roemling has gained a solid career in F&B management. His extensive exposure to European culinary traditions in acclaimed hotels will definitely enhance Waterfront Insular Hotel’s reputation of showcasing contemporary cuisines.
