Marco Polo's Train of Hope: An invitation to change lives
MANILA, Philippines - Discover the true meaning of Christmas as the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC), the only five-star hotel in Cebu City, encourages everyone to create a wonderful world of tomorrow for children through its series of one-of-a-kind holiday activities.
In cooperation with charitable donors and with the support of the KYTHE and Kapuso Foundations, the MPPC invites everyone to take a remarkable journey to raise P1 million in cash for the benefit of young cancer patients in Cebu until Jan. 6, 2010.
Relive childhood memories and fantasies as the MPPC features a wonderful miniature model railway, one of the finest exhibitions of its kind, at the hotel lobby.
Clayton and Joji Tugonon, owners of the railway set, will be sharing their precious piece to the public in this rare exhibit.
Come on board the Train of Hope through your charitable contribution. For P20,000, one of the carriages will bear the name/logo of your company for the duration of the display over 40 days.
Other sponsorship packages are also available. Benevolent individuals are also invited to further Light Up the Tree of Hope, one Christmas ball at a time. A donation of P100 per ball goes a long way in brightening the future of young cancer patients in Cebu.
