Traders takes part in coastal cleanup

-

MANILA, Philippines - Traders Hotel, Manila recently took part in celebrating the 24th International Coastal Cleanup Day, in support of the Ocean Conservancy’s campaign of creating a “sea change,” along the coast of San Dionisio in Parañaque City.

Led by Dario de los Reyes and Mike Mangilit, Traders Hotel’s human resources director and training manager and corporate social responsibility (CSR) head, respectively, hotel volunteers trooped to San Dionisio, widely recognized as a habitat for migrant birds.

Local government units, schools and other organizations also participated in the annual coastal cleanup, which was observed in other provinces as well.

Traders Hotel’s commitment to mitigating the impact of climate change and sound, resource management practices mirrors the advocacies of the Ocean Conservancy in hopes of protecting and preserving the environment for future generations.
