A convenient way to fly

-

MANILA, Philippines - True to its tagline, “It’s time everyone flies,” quality low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) entices travelers to go on trips even more with the launch of its payment centers for online booking.

This service is beneficial especially to those who don’t have credit cards but want to experience the convenience of booking their flights and paying online.

Now, you can book a flight to any of the airline’s 32 domestic and 14 international destinations with just a click of the mouse and a short trip to any of CEB’s accredited payment centers.

“We are aware that the growth of online booking is dependent solely on the carded population in the country,” explains Candice Alabanza Iyog, vice president, Marketing and Distribution. “With the launch of these payment centers we try to widen our reach, entice new markets, and allow first-time travelers to embark on a memorable journey minus the hassle. We want to reach as many people as possible.”

The process is simple: First, book your preferred flight schedule to your chosen destination online via www.cebupacificair.com. If you don’t have a credit card, you can put the transaction on hold. The website or call center agent will then give you a 14-digit reference number and the total amount to be paid. You can settle the amount in cash at any of CEB’s accredited bank partners — Banco de Oro, Metrobank, and Robinsons Savings Bank — on the same day of your booking. Just present your 14-digit reference number, and get the transaction number issued by the payment center.

Your confirmed itinerary will then be sent to your e-mail address or mobile number the following day.

You can also book by calling CEB’s reservation hotlines at (02) 702-0888 or (032) 230-888 and pay via ATM or through phone or Internet banking.

“When paying through the ATM machine, just enter the 14-digit number to complete the transaction. The amount will then be deducted from your savings account. It’s like paying your credit card bills through the ATM machine. Our accredited payment centers are very convenient and accessible since some (ATM machines) are open 24/7,” notes Candice.

The complete list of partner banks and accredited payment centers are available at CEB’s website.

“Now that it’s a lot easier to book and pay for flights, we hope more passengers will be encouraged to travel more often, especially with our trademark low fares,” she enthuses.

CEB’s other products and services — prepaid excess baggage, preferred seat selection, Sports Equipment luggage option, Go Lite fares, Fun Tours and TravelSure Insurance — can also be paid for through the payment centers to avoid flight delays.

SHOP IN THE SKY

Cebu Pacific heightens its international passengers’ onboard experience by adding shopping to the list of things to do.

Aside from joining in the airline’s Fun Flights games, travelers can now do their duty-free shopping from the comfort of their seats.

Ladies and gents will enjoy shopping for perfume, makeup and cosmetics. Choose from Lancome’s miniature eau de parfum, Ralph Lauren The Polo fragrance collection, Bulgari, Hugo Boss, Kenzo, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, and Emporio Armani; Revlon, Maybelline, Elizabeth Arden, and Clinique.

These products are available in all of CEB’s international flights to and fro Manila, namely Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Ho Chi Minh, Incheon (Seoul), Osaka, Shanghai, Singapore, and Taipei.

“We want to make it easier for our passengers to shop for pasalubong for their family and friends,” adds Candice. — LAI S. REYES
