InterCon encourages kids to read

-

MANILA, Philippines - The InterContinental Manila team led by general manager Charles Marshall recently visited the Fort Bonifacio Elementary School, bringing book donations from the hotel employees for 589 Grade 1 students. To promote reading appreciation among the children, the team conducted storytelling sessions accompanied by puppet shows. Snacks were served and prizes of toys and books were given out to those who correctly answered questions about the story that was just read out to them. This activity is part of InterContinental Manila’s corporate social responsibility program, which touches on areas of education, expressions of care, entrepreneurship, and the environment.
