Cathay Pacific introduces latest online service
MANILA, Philippines - Cathay Pacific Airways recently announced its latest online service to give passengers more control over their own travel itineraries. The launch of the “Manage my Booking” function on the Cathay Pacific website enables passengers to retrieve the most updated flight status and edit their personal information previously only available to members of The Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles.
Passengers can access the service by clicking onto the “Manage my Booking” tab at www.cathaypacific.ph and then inputting their name and booking reference or e-ticket number. The updated flight status for confirmed or waitlisted flight bookings on Cathay Pacific – and sectors on other carriers booked through Cathay Pacific – can be viewed through this channel. Members of The Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles can view up to 10 flight bookings online.
The new service function also offers a host of other features for the benefit of passengers, such as it allows passengers to enter or edit their contact details to ensure they are promptly informed of any booking or flight changes; travel help shows the most updated travel alerts and advisories relevant to the passenger’s itineraries, as well as important links to information regarding baggage requirements and visas; service requests shows the details and status on special meals, assistance and other services requested; on board and at the airport provide advance information on inflight entertainment, shopping, airports and lounges.
Cathay Pacific has introduced a series of online services over the past few years, including online booking, downloadable timetables and online check-in.
