Spend your sem break in Spain!

-

MANILA, Philippines – The Institute for Foreign Study, Inc. (IFS) is offering a two-week program in Salamanca and Seville this October during the sem break.

Applications are now accepted from students/new graduates ages 16 to 24 who would like to explore the university city of Salamanca in Castilla y Leon and the Andalusian city of Seville — two contrasting regional cultures waiting to be explored by participants who are interested in the many facets of Spain and are curious to learn more about the culture that shaped our own.

Salamanca is a university city, youthful because of students coming from all over the world studying at the university, and yet ancient with buildings commemorating its glorious past. Seville is colorful and warm, its Moorish past evident in its architecture, especially in the Old Jewish Quarter.

Participants will have 20 intensive Spanish lessons per week; live with selected Spanish families with two students per family and will enjoy local excursions to nearby places of interest in both Salamanca and Seville.

Slots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. An IFS group leader will be with the participants throughout their stay.

An early bird discount promo is offered until June 3. For more information regarding the program, the discount promo and visa processing, call the Institute for Foreign Study at 812-1187, or send an SMS to: 0906-3757412, 0927-3823095, or visit the IFS website at www.ifsphil.net.
