Putting a ‘K’ in ‘iconic’
MANILA, Philippines - Uber-model Kate Moss is the new face of Kérastase’s new Couture Styling line. The British Top Model and ambassador to many fashion and beauty brands will represent for the first time the luxury hair care brand.
In the ads, she seduces us with her token pout as her hair is styled in various looks that she’s known for, her hair basking in a luxurious Kérastase shine. In one image, she sports a big ‘70s hair in a loose bouffant, the other in textured wavy locks, while the third has her in sculpted curls set heavy on one side.
Moss’s fashion superstar presence was equally matched by the brand’s chosen hairstylist. Her locks experienced the Kérastase touch of hairdressing savant Luigi Murenu, Kerastase’s official hairdresser spokesperson for the Styling range. Gracing fashion capitals with his work, Murenu has crafted the hairstyles of high-brow A-listers like Madonna and Scarlett Johansson noted for their hairstyles as well as high fashion labels such as Versace, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy.
Photographed by renowned lensman Sølve Sundsbø, Moss’ partnership with Kérastase follows with the launch of the Kérastase Couture Styling line. The seven-piece line is designed to help craft the most advanced hairstyles, with a strong hold that’s always there, but is not felt. The products are poised to style hair with customized construction and a perfect finish that can take any look to couture-level perfection.
Kerastase’s brand of high style, absolute modernity and freedom through hairstyle makes Kate Moss the perfect face for the Styling range. The mark she makes in fashion always makes her editorials and campaigns iconic, and even in this revered status she’s still widely known to pursue a style that’s all her own. Despite retiring from full-time modeling, Moss continues to grace multiple runways each season, and is able to do so with an allure that has yet to be compared or replaced.
