MANILA, Philippines - Our OPM issue last week drew a lot of reactions from you. We’ve read them all — from the good to the bad, and from the support to the criticism. Many of your messages were impassioned and well-thought-out, and we appreciate your voice in the discussion.
Supreme is about provoking action — even if it means saying uncomfortable things. In a world where we’re inundated by information, it’s not enough for a publication like ours to report what’s happening. Media should be starting discussions, not just moderating them. Supreme is about covering the now with the view of affecting the next.
The real discussions to come out of last week happened between people who were less angry than they were moved; struck by the difference between how things are and how things ought to be. Such is the hallmark of true creators — discontentment with the status quo; the itch to leave behind the present and jump into the future.
