MANILA, Philippines -Guess who just moved in to primetime on Star World? James Van Der Beek.
Yes, Dawson from Dawsons Creek is alive. He now plays an over-the-top version of himself in the hilarious new sitcom Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23.
The series follows June, who moves to York City, loses her dream job, and is forced to live with her b*tchy friend, the con-artist Chloe. Now, Chloe’s best friend is actor James Van Der Beek, who’s obsessed with revitalizing his career and is desperate enough to try anything. These three collide and the result is a zany mix of funny.
To launch this new show, Star World recently threw an event called “B*tch Bash” at the Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences in Makati. Invitees were pampered like little B’s. Welcome drinks were served; personal assistants led guests to chic, personalized rooms. There, exclusive premiums from Fox International Channels were handed out, while massage therapists did their magic. To top it off, dinner was prepared by internationally renowned chef Dino Guingona of The Boheme Restaurant. 
After dinner, Jude Turcuato, Star World’s territory head for the Philippines, introduced the screening of the first two episodes of Don’t Trust the B in Apt 23.
