The uncle-and-nephew tandem has hit the big time, shuffling their way to the top of the charts, their crowning success appearing alongside Madonna for her Superbowl halftime performance last February with 114 million viewers, making it the most watched halftime show ever. The concert was a raging hit, a frathouse of wild music and outrageous animal prints after a somber Holy Week. Concertgoers are sorry for party rocking.
K-Pop Band Of The Week: North Korea’s Shining Star
North Korea is at it again and the rest of the world is worried. Soon, the communist country will be launching a rocket to mark the 100th birth anniversary of Kim Il-Sung, a grand celebration that will highlight the 100-kg rocket. The world is wary, even other communist-associated states like Russia and China, who believe that the real purpose of the rocket is to test a ballistic missile, followed by a nuclear test featuring atomic weapons. The Philippines is scared that debris might fall in Metro Manila, but it is possible that it is all just a misunderstanding and that North Korea will just be launching a new K-Pop band to rival Big Bang. The name of the rocket, after all, is Shining Star.
