Shoe polarity
I’ve always believed that a woman who says she has enough shoes is lying. Honestly, women will never succumb to footwear saturation. There’s always a window magnet stocked with tempting heel heights that make us go, “Oooh, those would look so good in my life.” But often enough, it’s the price that freezes the credit card swipe (which if you think about it, is actually a good thing). We all want the new architecturally defying heels, pops of bright colors, printed kaleidoscope platforms — bold, yes, but we want it at a price that’s relative to it’s trendiness. Smart shopping involves that foresight of knowing a piece’s tenure. So my rule has always been to invest in designer classics and splurge on fast fashion.
To satisfy that sometimes insatiable need for wanting runway collections now, a revamped brand comes back to the forefront armed with style artillery that’s sure to win the war with footwear that’s on pulse and at a price that doesn’t need to be overanalyzed. Primadonna, a shoe label that’s been in the industry since 2007, has reworked, rebranded and reinvented itself. “Different shoe for a different you” is the tagline, which in essence, encapsulates our everyday style schizophrenia.
