Come and rest your bones with me
MANILA, Philippines – Adam Levine might be catching public interest for a decidedly different reason now, but if anyone ever forget, Maroon 5 is all about the music and on May 23, they remind you just what an electric act they are.
After millions of records sold, awards won, and a new chart-topping record “Hands All Over,” Maroon 5 returns for a show at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Grounds, promising another explosive concert.
By now, they’ve established themselves as a band of radio. They’ve soundtracked your wistful break-up (She Will Be Loved), that first morning-after (Sunday Morning), the nights out on the town (Makes Me Wonder). Maroon 5 has always been a band of the people.
Last year, Maroon 5 came back with their highly-anticipated third album, produced by rock legend (and Shania Twain’s ex) Mutt Lange, whose career catalogue includes rock legends like AC/DC, Def Leppard and The Cars. Through the help of Lange’s know-how, “Hands All Over” is a killer hybrid of rock, pop, funk, and R&B. Moreover the album’s debut single Misery — a collage of funky guitar riffs and high-stepping melodies — had made its way to the top 10 of the Top 40 radio chart in the US early in its release.
