Girls wanna be her. Guys wanna bone her. The 25-year-old pop starlet’s second album has already generated two top 10 hits, California Gurls and Teenage Dream, and lots more are in store.

“I’m happy I got to work with Greg Wells. I tried out Stargate on this new record and I got two amazing songs from them, Firework and Peacock, which are probably my favorite songs,” she told Supreme in July.

3. Holly Grabarek is MTV Asia’s newest VJ

The 19-year-old American-Indonesian student, who lived in Siem Reap before moving to Singapore to take up psychology, beat five other candidates, including Kylie Chapman from Malaysia; Alice Yu and Ali Agus Ardie from Indonesia; and Dawn Balagot from the Philippines.
