MANILA, Philippines - At the exclusive hub of the first-to-haves—Members Only at the Fort, Manila’s style and taste setters gathered for what is to become the “IT” gathering for the city’s slickest multi-taskers. Supreme spotted real estate heiress now club princess Divine Lee, mogul-in-training slash most eligible bachelor Kevin Tan (last we heard he’s engaged), sexy and savvy restaurateurs Luis de Terry and Abba Napa of lu and L’Opera restaurants, respectively, all sporting the latest “must” in modern lifestyle. Yes, they’re all sporting a Globe Blackberry phone. ”We like to be first all the time, that’s why we’re here, ahead of the pack,” we overheard one talk to the rest of the pack.
Outside Members Only, the latest models of Ford were up for display. Salivatingly high tech-models that were ready for voice command and mobile phone compatible were up for grabs for the tech and car savvy. It was irresistible, to say the least.
A line, composed of the city’s slickest, was formed outside the club. They were all eager to sample the goods that Globe and Blackberry had prepared for them.
And why not, when we all have to admit that when it comes to the best deals, Globe is it.
