MANILA, Philippines – From the beach to the bar, you know you’re around a Superbod when you catch yourself looking. At the height of summer, admiration abounded when Century Tuna ‘09’s Bods and Brains Challenge had people checking out the 20-finalist competition at Boracay’s White Beach. And though we witnessed a consistent lineup of lick-worthy brawn, breasts, and booty, only two could be the grand winners — Van Victor Leano and Theresa Fenger bagging the most attraction-affirming prize of the year. 

While we dispute the “healthy minds” part of the competition, there are never enough opportunities to celebrate one of God’s gifts to mankind: being sex on a stick. So Century brought everyone back to Manila for a Victory Superparty at Embassy Superclub, where other finalists took the opportunity to shake what God gave ‘em: 1st runner-up winner Martin Richard, Mr. Superphoto winner Terence Lloyd, and People’s Choice male winner Ervic Vijandre.

For everyone else, it was easy to feel as sizzling hot as the winners, what with the premium booze provided by drink du jour, The Bar. The Superbods can, of course, bare their goods at the beach, but for everyone else who came to the victory party, the bar was where everyone could feel just as “super”.
