We at Supreme previously reported the impending arrival of the Nokia Xpressmusic 5800 — the Finnish company’s 3.2 Megapixel, 8GB, touch-screen answer to Apple’s iPhone. Now, we’ve just gotten word that the phone will be in Philippine markets next month, and that Nokia is currently accepting pre-orders, luring customers with freebies.

Customers can now log-on to Nokia Philippines’ website, www.nokia.com.ph, and fill up a form to be notified when and where the phone is available for pick-up. The first 58 claimed pre-orders will receive a Sennheiser HD-205 headset and SVIP passes for two to the Nokia 5800 HedKandi Playlist party on Jan. 23, 2009 at A.Venue Hall, Makati. The next 100 claimed pre-orders get an access pass to the party.

All 5800 users get exclusive access to Kjwan’s highly-awaited album “13 Seconds to Love,” which is preloaded on the music player. Access to preloaded and downloadable content from Universal Music and Nokia Indie Artists Club also comes with the phone.

Now, here are what we think are the coolest features of the phone:

1) Built-in stereo speakers with surround sound.

2) 8GB of memory (up to 6,000 tracks!), 3.5mm jack, a graphic equalizer, and supports all main digital music formats.

3) Has a high quality 3.2 mp camera with Carl Zeiss lens for still photos and supports VGA-like video recording.

4) Has easy access to Share on Ovi (a personal media sharing community that is free and unlimited), Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube for seamless sharing with your friends

5) Choice between the stylus/plectrum, touch-screen, traditional mobile phone keypad or computer-style (QWERTY) keyboard.

6) Tactile feedback so one has a better feel for operating the user interface.

7) Supports flash content.

8) For one-handed and two-handed use.

How do you think this phone will fair against its competitors?
