Budu and Audrey Atilano: Love and laughter all around

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - There was love — plus a lot of laughter — all around when Audrey Capacio, daughter of Vicky Capacio of China Bank and the late basketball coach and PBA pillar Ely Capacio, kept her altar date with Vicente Luis “Budu” Atilano III, son of Aton and Tessa Atilano, last October 4 at St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Magallanes, Makati.

The groom is vice president at Kohl Industries Corp. while the bride is assistant brand manager at Luxasia Inc.

Proud dad Ely Capacio must be smiling down on his family as his lovely wife Vicky Capacio and only son Timothy Capacio walked Audrey, glowing in a Richie Ortega-Torres gown, down the aisle of the church to join her dashing groom Budu.

Steven Doloso did the bride’s makeup while hairstylist was Bonita.

The church was decked with flowers by Robert Blancaflor who also did the bridal entourage’s bouquets.

Standing as ninongs and ninangs were Francisco Alejo II, Luisa Brown, Abraham Espinosa Jr., Nina Dagondon, Genaro Reyes, Ma. Teresa Faustino, Angelico Salud, Ma. Josefa Garcia, Johnny Sy, Theodora Monocandilos, Roberto Tenchavez, Linda Rosal.

With dark taupe and dusty pink as the color motif, the entourage was led by maids of honor Abigail Marie Capacio and Stephanie Therese Capacio, and best man  Carlos Lorenzo Atilano.

After the early afternoon Mass, the couple joined their families and friends for cocktails and a dinner reception at Manila Polo Club with the Mobb Band and Manila String Machine entertaining the guests. The evening was hosted by Sam YG, TJ Valderrama, and Robin Gatmaitan.

The lovely young couple could have danced all night.
