Shop global, help local at the 48th International Bazaar
MANILA, Philippines - The International Bazaar Foundation Inc. (IBF), ladies of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) and members of the diplomatic and consular corps will hold the 48th International Bazaar on Nov. 16, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the PICC Forums I, II and III, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
Thirty-five embassies and six consulates will showcase the best of their local goods, while over 1,000 booths will sell Pinoy products.
Proceeds of the one-day event will be donated to the IBF, which will be used for its various projects such as scholarship grants to deserving students from indigent families, financial support for the elderly, abused and abandoned children, as well as victims of calamities.
Get the chance to win the grand prize — a brand new Hyundai Eon car courtesy of HARI Foundation, Inc. (Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc.) through its president and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo and IBF Inc. — during the raffle draw. There will also be airline tickets, kitchen appliances, hotel weekend packages and many more interesting prizes to be won when you buy a raffle ticket for only P200.

Ledesma, member of the board of trustees; Nora Salazar, executive director; and Blessie Cabrera, special projects unit coordinator, Department of Foreign Affairs.
Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) officers are Omolara Evelyn Farounbi (Nigeria), president; Isabelle Garachon (France), vice president; Margaret Ledoux (EU), secretary; Marie Won Wha Soon (Korea), treasurer; Dinh Thi Thu Huong (Vietnam), membership officer; Gracita Sieber (Switzerland) and Mano Hirubalan (Singapore), advisers.
Entrance tickets are priced at P100 and raffle tickets at P200. Tickets are available at Tesoro’s outlets on Arnaiz Avenue, Makati City and Mabini St., Ermita Manila; and on the sixth floor, Special Projects Unit, 2330 DFA Bldg., Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.
