Shop Guam Festival returns with great deals
MANILA, Philippines - Tourists visiting Guam can once again shop till they drop as the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) brings back the biggest shopping event in the Western Pacific region, the “Shop Guam Festival (SGF).” The much-awaited annual shopping event redefines the definition of paradise with its array of retail establishments offering discounts, coupled with exclusive dining and entertainment deals for visitors during the 73-day festival, which runs from Nov. 1 to Jan. 12, 2015.
Guam offers visitors a one-of-a-kind duty-free shopping experience with their variety of luxury and budget retailers across the island. Filipino travelers can definitely get their money’s worth with Guam’s outlet stores at Guam Premier Outlets and international and luxury retailers at Agana Shopping Center, Micronesia Mall, Tumon Sands Plaza, The Plaza and T Galleria.
Shoppers can also maximize their retail therapy with Guam’s SGF coupon booklets and SGF mobile app for added discounts and special festival promotions. For this year’s Shop Guam Festival, the Guam Visitors Bureau offers a total of 208 exclusive deals through the SGF coupon booklet, which cover deals for shopping, food, attraction and discounts for other in-island establishments.
The Shop Guam Festival also gives shoppers and tourists alike the chance to experience the infamous “Black Friday” shopping event in the United States, which falls on the first month of the festival, to kick-start their Christmas shopping habit with big discounts.
