Cabalen reaches out to Tacloban

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of its 16th anniversary, Cabalen, the premier eat-you-can, eat-all-you-want restaurant, brought cheer to Taclobanon students as it recently held its “Cabalen Para sa Kabataan” outreach project in Tacloban City.

In cooperation with the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, Cabalen executives Ian Tiongson and wife Diane (in behalf of Cabalen president Maritel Nievera) led the turnover of learner kits and hygiene sets to George Cayas and Marlon Tangpuz, principals of Dr. AP Bañez Elementary School and Sto. Niño Elementary School, respectively. The donation benefitted over a thousand students.

Started in 1996, “Cabalen Para Sa Kabataan” is Cabalen’s way of giving back to the community. Cabalen sets aside a portion of its earnings (every December) to fund the project.

And since it’s graduation season,  Cabalen treats graduates with a free buffet for a minimum of eight persons dining at all Cabalen branches. Feast on the resto’s signature dishes such as kare-kare, bringhe, kalderetang baka, dinuguan, tibok-tibok and halo-halo. Promo runs until April 30.

Cabalen has branches at 67 West Ave., QC; third floor, Bridgeway, SM Megamall; ground floor, Robinsons Place Manila; ground floor, Alabang Town Center; second floor, TriNoma; second floor, Glorietta 2; ground floor, Entertainment Mall, SM Mall of Asia; ground floor, Robinsons Starmills, San Fernando, Pampanga; ground floor, SM City Cebu; ground floor, SM City Clark; ground floor, Harbor Point Ayala Mall, Subic Bay Freeport Zone; and ground floor, Market!
