Talent School of Academics and Arts offers summer courses in modeling and theater
MANILA, Philippines - Do you want to be a fashion model? Or do you simply want to improve your fashion sense, poise and self-confidence?
Then join the Modeling Program offered by the Talent School of Academics and Arts (TSAA) this summer which is open to male and female teens and adults.
The Modeling Program is handled by Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, former president of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) and beauty columnist of the Philippine Star. Rissa is the resident judge and runway coach for the upcoming TV show, Top Model Philippines.
Rissa helps aspiring models to become successful in the business by teaching them the basics of modeling.Students will highlight their transformation as they walk on the ramp in a fashion show at the end of the course. This is her fifth year of mentoring for MyTalent, the brainchild of stage veteran Audie Gemora and business partner Vilma Moredo. Several graduates of the summer program now walk the fashion runways as models, and some are now members of PMAP.
This year MyTalent transitions into the Talent School of Academics and Arts, and will be featuring a range of summer programs that include Musical Theater, Pop Concert Performance, Voice and Instrument, Street Dance, Personal Development, Kids Art, and Fencing. Special summer courses for Art (under Jan Blanco), Ballet (with Rhea Bautista), and Taekwondo (headed by Jeffrey Figueroa) will also be conducted.
