Have yourself a magical Christmas with Hello Kitty at SM City North EDSA
The world-famous Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow purrs her way to SM City North EDSA to help spread holiday cheer to kids of all ages in “Hello Kitty Christmas at the North.”
Merrymakers are in for a treat as Hello Kitty, together with her Mama Mary and Papa George, lines up various activities for everyone at the The Block Atrium, which has been transformed into a Hello Kitty Village, especially for this merry, magical season.
It’s also the purr-fect time to meet Hello Kitty’s new buddies — Mr. Men and Little Miss Sanrio characters such as Mr. Strong, Little Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Bump. Join them in their interactive world of Misterland with storytelling sessions on Dec. 22 and 23 at 4 p.m. at the fourth floor, The Annex.
The luxe life of Hello Kitty
If those are not enough to soothe your Kitty craze, check out the Hello Kitty Luxe Collection on the third floor of The Block and treat your senses to the feline-inspired luxe items on display until Jan. 6. Avid Hello Kitty collectors include child star Jillian Ward, DJ Nicole Lhaya. Hello Kitty fans and more will definitely love the exhibit, which is on view until Jan. 6.
The cat is home for the holidays
Take a peek into Hello Kitty’s dream house at the Interior Zone. Avid Hello Kitty collectors Maricel Tan Alejandro and Dianne Abella teamed up with the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) and the shops at Interior Zone in presenting elegant Hello Kitty vignettes, which feature the fab living room, kitchen and bedroom showcase.
Hello Kitty lights up your world
Over at the Skygarden, mall habitués can enjoy the cool breeze as they stroll along its walkway lit up by Hello Kitty lanterns.
Witness the sky light up as SM North EDSA showcases its grand fireworks display on Dec. 16 and 30, 7 p.m.
Lastly, check out the coolest cat mobiles at the Hello Kitty car display today at the Skygarden and The Block.
