Fundraising sale at Salcedo Auctions
MANILA, Philippines - Salcedo Auctions mounts “The Well-Appointed Life,” an exclusive one-night exhibition and private sale of fine art, important jewelry and objects on Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m. to benefit Abilympics Philippines, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through professional development.
The funds raised from this sale will go towards the competition held annually to select the members of the local team, and help to underwrite their participation in the international Abilympics, where various tournaments are held to celebrate diverse skills in areas such as fine arts and crafts, information technology, and the service industries. Mons Romulo, president of Abilympics Philippines, chairs the event, supported by board members Anton San Diego, Kaye Tinga, Lingling King, Audrey Zubiri, and Alice Eduardo.
In keeping with Salcedo Auctions’ reputation of offering collectibles of quality, never been exhibited before, or have come to the market for private sale with works by Philippine masters Juan Luna, Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo and Juan Arellano, National Artists Vicente Manansala, J. Elizalde Navarro, Victorio Edades, BenCab, and Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, and artists David Medalla, Romeo Tabuena and Onib Olmedo.
Jewelry pieces and objects from distinguished private collections will also be offered during this evening of high luxury and connoisseurship dedicated to spreading the good life.
