Who do your pray for the most?

WORDS WORTH - Mons Romulo - The Philippine Star

It is through our strong faith in God that a lot of us have survived the storms that passed through our lives and it is also through prayers that we can thank our Lord for the blessings He has so generously given us. Read on as some personalities share with us who they pray for the most?

Denise Aquino, owner, Tokyo Posh

I pray most for my business (Tokyo Posh) to do well and be successful because I really want to be able to provide more jobs to Filipinos and give my employees more benefits. I pray that through this business, I can make more women feel beautiful and happy, inside and out. I also pray that soon, I will have enough to eventually give back to my parents who have supported me all these years.

 Kaye Tinga, managing director, W/17

Every night before I go to bed and every morning when I wake up, I pray for my family’s health and happiness, the most important thing in the world to me.

Mila Drilon, wife of Senator Frank Drilon

Every morning during Holy Communion I  pray for my husband Frank. I ask the Lord to stay with him so that he can do and say only what He wants him to do and say.

Mary Grace Dimacali, owner, Mary Grace

I pray mostly for my family, intentions of friends, and for the intentions of our Lady. I pray also for our President, Nonoy, our country, and pressing issues. Lastly, I remember deceased family and friends and the poor souls in purgatory.

 Arcy Gayatin, fashion designer

Apart from my loved ones who mean the most to me, I have prayers of intercession every morning for people I know who need physical healing. I also pray every day for my employees, our country, and our OFW’s.

Odette Pumaren, housewife

I pray for my family and loved ones the most, that we may continue to be blessed with good health peace of mind and be kept safe.  I pray for our country and its leaders, for peace in the world that we all love each other as Christ loved us (tall order I know) as this is the only way for my children to have a bright future.

Tess Dizon de Vega, deputy consul and general manager, Philippine Center New York

I pray the most for my family and a better Philippines.
