What's your favorite tweet?

WORDS WORTH - Mons Romulo -

Twitter has become a part of the lives of many of us. It’s become a venue to hook up with friends, know what’s the latest in fashion or political news, voice whatever one feels at a certain moment, or simply to inspire others.

When I started tweeting, I was oblivious to how powerful tweeting could be until I bumped into friends who would ask me how good the restaurant I had tweeted about was, how was my daughter’s game or simply stop to share with me the experience they had had in the same place I had tweeted about.

Twitter has become so powerful that celebrity tweeters are asked to tweet about a certain product or upcoming events. Read on as some tweeters share with us their favorite tweets!

Phoemela Baranda, president, Professional Models Association of the Philippines

My favorite tweet was a message from Apples Aberin which read: “Proud of you and PMAP for continuing our tradition of giving back with ‘Day with the Kids,’” sent by #modelswithaheart. It’s nice to be appreciated, especially by Apples, she was the president of PMAP when they invited me to be a member so it meant a lot to me. Now we’re just continuing the tradition. PMAP does the charity event every year to give joy to the kids and it also makes us happy to be with them. #priceless!

Cristalle Henares, managing director, Sexy Solutions

“God’s ability to give is infinite. We limit it by our own unloving perception,” by Deepak Chopra.

Juan Sarte, makeup artist

“Haters are confused admirers who can’t understand why people love you.” I totally agree with Paolo Coelho. Hatred towards celebrities means you’re affected by them. It’s a form of involvement. Ayaw mo lang aminin. Otherwise, you should have no feelings at all.

Girlie Rodis, talent manager, events producer, amateur photographer, social media loader

One of my favorite tweets is from Pia Magalona: “To the untrained eye, bashers seem relevant because like-minded people support their way of thinking.”

Divine Lee, Extreme Makeover design team

I like Oprah’s #thankyougame. Today’s#thankyougame challenge is to thank someone who gave you an opportunity. It’s quite nice to remember to always be grateful and thankful for all of our blessings.

RG Cruz, new reporter

My favorite tweet lately: I tweeted it myself earlier this week. “@1rgcruz: Deciding which is the better hashtag #sapakansapaliparan or #thrillainNAIA?”

Claudia Barretto, actress

This is my favorite tweet: “Love is louder than the pressure to be perfect!” by Demi Lovato, one of my biggest inspirations!

Tweetie De Leon Gonzalez

I tweeted some time ago that “worry is my enemy.” It depicted my state of mind at the time and during many other points in my life. I am a worrier by nature despite believing that my anxieties will be lifted after a mere short prayer. The tweet was a reminder to myself, as it may have been for a few of my followers, that we sometimes create our own adversaries in our heads.

Jing Monis, stylist

“This is my happiness, my life and my inspirations.”
