PLDT offers free Wi-Fi service at Panagbenga

-

MANILA, Philippines - With over 3,000 Wi-Fi zones, the Philippine Long Distance Telecommunications Company’s Wi-Fi Zone provides fast wireless Internet connectivity nationwide. Wi-Fi Zone stretches across the country’s major metropolitan areas — from NCR, to Cebu, soon moving into Davao.

Baguio’s colorful Panagbenga Flower Festival went high-tech this year when it got a delightful taste of Wi-Fi Zone powered by PLDT to the festival attendees at no charge. The free WiFi Zone was extended not only to existing PLDT subscribers who were at Panagbenga, but to the general public attending the festivities as well.

The telecom giant equipped the city with multiple Wi-Fi access points, commencing on the summer capital’s annual flower fest, to last until April 26 of this year. Internet connectivity was now possible all the way down the parade route at Session Road — from PLDT’s Baguio Business Offices, to Harrison Street in front of Burnham Park, all throughout Burnham Park, the Police Sub-Station, the Baguio City Tourism Office,

With PLDT providing a high tech hand to Panagbenga, the beauty of Baguio’s blossoms was shared to the world with breathtaking Wi-Fi Zone speed. That’s something that flower lovers and festival revelers alike can be “perennial” about.
