Rotary Club of Makati holds Christmas bazaar
MANILA, Philippines - The Rotary Club of Makati Christmas bazaar, now on its 24th year, will be held today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Intercontinental Manila, Makati City.
The bazaar offers traditional bestsellers, fashion accessories, Christmas decors, antiques, jewelry, children's clothes, men's and ladies’ RTW, linens and novelty items. Proceeds from the Bazaar will fund the Club's monthly medical mission, family health and nutrition program, Gawad Kalinga livelihood programs, Heather Kinross Center for Skills Training and Entreprenuerial Development, Teaching the Deaf to Speak Project, Stepping Stone Learning Center (School for the Handicapped) and other worthwhile causes.
A hallmark at every Rotary Club (RC) ofMakati Christmas bazaar is the Last Angel's Table where a Christmas tree will be filled with angels carrying the names of indigent children you can adopt for Christmas. You select your own angel, choose a gift and make his/her Christmas a truly memorable one.
This bazaar is organized by the Rotary Anns led by Lu Limjoco, wife of Rotary Club of Makati president Rene Limjoco, supported by Et Librea and Yvonne Kuan, Glo Garcia and Terry Tambunting, Tessie Amparo, Marissa Conception, Sue Ann Malig Nolido and Menchu Pascual, Tere Boyer and Tesha Garcia, Angela Quila, J'net and Cecile Varela, Pina Rojas and Lil Dominguez, Caling Young and Irene Barcelon, Cat Rufino and Jojo Borromeo.
