At Ayala Malls, home is also where the heart is

- Ana G. Kalaw -

MANILA, Philippines - Three of the corner lots on Bonifacio High Street’s retail strip are dedicated to home furnishings and houseware. Here, you have Dimensione and Bo Concept’s flagship stores, two popular home stores that carry fine lines from Italy, the US and even some local designs. One corner also has Muji, the minimalist Japanese home and lifestyle brand that carries futons and home organizers along with cute knick knacks such as colored pencils, stationery and travel kits.

Across the street, at Market! Market!, the upper floor has a section dedicated to one-of-a-kind home accessories and beautiful antique wooden furnishings. “We carry furniture from Vigan and Pampanga. We are the only mall in Manila to offer this,” says Joseph Reyes, general manager of Market! Market!

Clearly, for Ayala Malls, home fashion is as much a priority as personal fashion. Each of their retail centers is a haven for those who love to decorate and beautify their homes. Just like their fashion shops, the home stores in Ayala Malls offer unique furniture and home accents ranging from the affordable to the high-end brands.

Home decor, from sleek contemporary furniture to refurbished antique accents are some of the best buys at Market! Market!'s Home Market.

The third level of Greenbelt 5 is dedicated to home centers and showrooms. Here you have the very first mall store of Dexterton, the premier source of quality building materials and imported home furnishing. Domus/Paradore specializes in contemporary furniture and sleek, modern furnishing, Prizmic & Brill has furnishings that reminiscent of a luxe country home, while Hives by Restoration and Designs Ligna offer more traditional, Filipino-inspired furniture. Specialty stores such as Illuminati (lighting fixtures) and Tempur (mattresses and pillows) are also among the home options in Greenbelt 5.

For the home owner on a budget, the Crossings at TriNoma and Glorietta has affordable furniture and home accents, from couches to carpets to home appliances. Apostrophe, Dimensione, EDIA and Play & Display in Glorietta 4 also have eye-catching merchandise that turn a house into a home.
