2011 Gawad Parangal awardees feted
MANILA, Philippines - Ten outstanding individuals and five corporations/institutions are this year’s recipients of the Quezon City Gawad Parangal awards. The aware were presented by Mayor Herbert Bautista and vice mayor Joy Belmonte during the awards night at the Crowne Plaza ballroom as part of the highlights of the celebration of the 72nd Quezon City founding anniversary. Assisting Mayor Bautista in the ceremonies are chief of staff and foundation day steering committee chairman Aldrin C. Cuna (right) and Gawad Parangal selection board director Dr. Manuel S. Alba (left). The individual awardess are from left, second row painter/art teacher Fernando Sena, comedy king Dolphy Quizon (represented by son Vandolf), entrepreneur Ramon E.
