Film celebrities flying in for Moviemov: The Italian Film Festival in November

MANILA, Philippines - Prominent Italian directors,actors and actresses will fly in from Italy for the Moviemov: Italian Film Festival 2011 to be held from Nov. 9 to 13 at the Greenbelt Cinema in Ayala Center, Makati.

Organized by Asiatica Film Mediale, the Italian Embassy, the Philippine Italian Association and the Film Development Council of the Philippines, the festival was set up upon the invitation of Senator Goffredo Bettini and Italo Spinelli, founders of the prestigious Festival del Cinema di Roma — considered to be as important as the Venice Film Festival — and the Cinema Asiatica — the Rome-based Asian film Festival.

Signing the contract for the festival were Philippine Italian Association president Nedy Tantoco, film festival director Bettini, The Peninsula general manager Sonja Vodusek, Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari and Film Development Council of the Philippines chairman Briccio Santos.
