MANILA, Philippines - The Congressional Spouses Inc. (CSFI) headed by Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte and Art Gallery Manila launched another successful exhibit at the South Wing, Lobby of the House of Representatives. Representing the Vice Mayor on this much-awaited occasion were CSFI executive director Paula Locsin Bondoc and CSFI chairperson for PIC Mons T. Romulo, who both made sure everything went well. Together with the CSFI members, Bondoc and Romulo welcomed the VIP guests who traveled all the way to Congress to be part of this noteworthy occasion.

Leading the ribbon cutting were Speaker Sonny Belmonte, Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa, QC Mayor Herbert Bautista, Ces Drilon and Atty. Gigi Reyes with businessmen Mikee Romero, Bong Sta Maria, Tricia Del Rosario and Rep. Mark Villar there to give their support. “Proud to Be Pinoy” is a tribute to the global Filipinos, particularly fellow House Member Manny Pacquiao and many others who have made international recognition for themselves and for our country. Featured artworks were by Fernando Amorsolo, Anita Magsaysay Ho, Ang Kiukok, Arturo Luz, Vicente Manansala, Juvenal Sanso and more. It was a

Mons Romulo told guests: “On behalf of Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, we are grateful to all who have supported and continue to support CSFI and we will never tire of doing more fundraising events because the money we generate will benefit  different organizations all over the country in need. CSFI’s aim is to create and make meaningful positive difference for others.” A generous percentage of the sales of the paintings will benefit the different charities of CSFI. The “Proud To Be Pinoy” exhibit is open to the public until May 31.
