Rabbit fashion is digitally in
MANILA, Philippines - Rabbit designs for fashion/wearable art may be made out of anything — painting, stitching, photography, wire installations, etc. In the samples you see here, this year’s animal sign has been created using a mouse — a computer mouse, that is. With the growing number of talented graphic and multimedia artists in the country and around the world, digital artworks make fashion more playful and funky especially for this year of the Rabbit.
Now, in its sixth year, Philippine STAR and Swatch continue to partner with the Annual Chinese New Year Art Contest. This year’s contest theme and title is “ Swatch My Rabbit Story Contest.” The participants may submit any form of fashion / wearable art — including but not limited to clothing, footwear, bags, accessories, etc. using any Swatch watch as an inspiration.
Entry forms are available daily in The Philippine STAR during the duration of the promo. All entries must be accompanied by a completed Entry Form & Contest Guidelines and Acceptance Form (available at any Swatch Store, Swatch Kiosk or Hole in the Wall Shop). Gift Gate, Inc. must receive all entries by 8 p.m. today.
If you want to join and also keep your entry after the final judging on March 5, submit your entry at the Swatch Interactive Billboard at Greenbelt 5. Deadline for submission is at 8 p.m. today.
