Mike & Kathy Huang have a baby!
MANILA, Philippines – Kathy Huang, wife of Mike Huang, Rustan’s Group of Companies assistant to president, got a memorable ’60s-inspired, high tea baby shower organized by her sister-in-law Catherine Huang.
The theme proved to be so much fun as it spans many generations and various nostalgic decorative elements.
For the high tea, guests feasted on scones, cookies, mini sandwiches and, of course, nine different types of tea. Royal Doulton tea sets from the Old Country Rose collection added a touch of elegance to the theme.
Fun games followed like the “Guess Kathy and Mike’s Baby.” Participants were asked to form groups of four. Each team was then provided with printouts of Kathy and Mike’s immediate families. The players were then asked to predict how Mike and Kathy’s baby would look like by making use of cutout pictures from the family such as Mike’s lips, Kathy’s eyes, and grandma, Rustan’s president Nedy Tantoco’s hair, to name a few.
Special prizes were given away like skincare products from Clarins, Spanx body shapers, and Dwell travel bags. In return, the guests showered Kathy with presents. Those who didn’t have time to get Kathy a gift checked out “Kathy’s Picks” table where they chose items to give her from Rustan’s Baby Registry.
