Hats off to scholars
MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe winner Miriam Quiambao not only has the beauty and the brains, but has the passion to help out young people fulfill their goals. As a philanthropist, Miriam has been actively participating in different organizations and reaching out to those in need.
Real Life Foundation is an educational advocacy organization dedicated to serving the poor and improving their lives through educational assistance, leadership development, and community service. They have already 115 scholars spread out in different cities all over the Philippines.
Today, Miriam Quiambao and The White Hat will join hands to help Real Life Foundation provide more opportunities to build character and develop leadership skills through their Life Coaching Curriculum.
The event is from 2 to 6 p.m. at The White Hat in Shangri-La Plaza. Miriam Quiambao will be the celebrity server. For every cup of yogurt sold during the day, 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Real Life Foundation. It only takes 250 cups to provide one year high school education for one Real Life Scholar.
Quiambao will serve her unique creations — two very special combos namely, Summer Delight, a refreshing combination of homemade granola, kiwi, peaches or strawberries for the health conscious; and Passionate Indulgence, a combination of homemade brownies, walnut streusel and chocolate syrup.
