Rock for change at SM Mall of Asia
MANILA, Philippines – Are you getting confused with all this election brouhaha? Are you suffering from election campaign overload? Do you look in the mirror and say: How can I make a difference out there in the election battlefield — and still have a little bit of fun?
Well, fret no more. Roam Philippines together with Crush Communications, two of the country’s most innovative marketing, communications, and event groups, are spearheading a special concert that will not only convince you that, yes, you can make a difference in these coming elections (even if you don’t have billions in campaign funds), have loads of fun, and see your favorite rock bands — all at the same time
Watch “Rock for Change,” a concert for the young and young-at-heart who believe that these coming elections are not so much about who we vote for, but rather, how committed we are in ensuring that everyone gets involved in this important event that could change the course of our history. It will be held at SM Mall of Asia Penthouse on Labor Day, May 1. Gates will open at 5p.m.

“Rock for Change” has a simple message: “Don’t be indifferent because every vote makes a difference. Be vigilant. Guard the sanctity of the ballot. And vote according to your conscience.” It’s an all-out rock concert screaming for the right to vote, a night where many Filipinos will hear an echoing shout—a deafening call reminding everyone that voting is a duty of every citizen because in the end, each one of us can be an agent of positive change.
Consistent to the theme of change, there will be a talk before the show by an NGO by Jamie Wilson of Rocked. Also, the show Ako ang Simula of ABS-CBN will be covering the event. Myx is the official music channel for the concert.
