The 'Dare 2 B Fit Challenge' is on
MANILA, Philippines - Ministop and Del Monte Fit ‘n’ Right will hold the “Dare 2 B Fit Challenge” from April 19 to 23, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 160 Ministop stores in GMA.
The contest is open to men and women ages 18 to 50 years old.
The contest rule is simple: whoever loses the most weight at the end of the competition wins!
To register, interested participants must present single or accumulated receipts of five Del Monte Fit ‘n’ Right beverages (for instance, four PET bottles plus one Ministop Fit ‘n’ Right 16 oz. juice cup or five PET bottle variants) and a valid ID at any participating Ministop store. Official receipts will then be stamped and signed by a Del Monte representative.
After registration, participants will be weighed on a digital weighing scale at Ministop stores. They will then receive a certificate that will serve as their official entry to the “Dare 2 B Fit” challenge.
To determine the winners, a final weigh-in will be organized exclusively at the “Dare 2 B Fit Challenge” booths located at the following official mall partners — Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Otis, Forum Robinsons (Pioneer), Robinsons Metro East, and Robinsons Novaliches — on May 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
One male and one female participant who register the highest percentage of weight loss from the registration period — April 19 to May 29 — will be declared winners.
Should there be a draw/tie after the final weigh-in, contenders will be requested to prepare a 300-word essay with the theme: “How Ministop and Fit ‘n’ Right Helped Me Become Fit.”
The essays will be judged by representatives from Ministop and Del Monte based on content, substance, originality, creativity, and persuasion, writing style/structure/composition, and language. Winners will each receive P100,000 in cash, tax free.
