All our presidentiables have eyebag problems
(Editor’s note: We asked the famous Dr. Vicki Belo to take a look at these five presidential candidates and see what procedures she would recommend to each one.)
MANILA, Philippines - People often judge a person by his or her looks. But people also appreciate beauty naturally. The
first impression is always the most important, if not the most lasting.
Among today’s presidentiables, being dynamic, self-confident and energetic are perhaps the vital qualities that the public appreciates.
It is imperative to look good if you are a public figure. If you face the cameras and are often in the limelight, it is a must to take care of your looks.
Gravity takes its toll as we get older, but with the latest cosmetic surgery procedures, there is no more excuse for not looking good.
Having lines in between the eyebrows means you are masungit, worried or not friendly. Having eyebags shows one is tired.
Jowling or having a loose lower jaw makes one look haggard and not youthful. A tight jaw projects a manly look.
All our presidentiables — and not just former President Joseph Estrada — have eyebags or eyelid problems. The skin around the eyes is so thin; that’s why, perhaps due to squinting, pollution, eye irritation or wearing contact lenses, the candidates develop eyebags or eyelid problems.
Senator Dick Gordon has a double chin and is overweight. If that can be remedied through liposuction or diet injections, he can look more dynamic and youthful.
Senator Gibo Teodoro looks good with his height and face, but he has thinning hair and a high forehead. That’s why he needs hair transplant.
The same goes for Senator Noynoy Aquino, who would certainly look a lot younger than his age if he had more hair.
Senator Manny Villar’s face is loose on the bone. He needs a facelift like Thermage for tighter skin and renewed facial contours to make him look much younger.
