Visita Iglesia in Batangas
MANILA, Philippines - La Isla Pilipinas Tours Inc. will hold a Visita Iglesia in Batangas on April 1, Holy Thursday.
The tour takes participants to the province’s seven Catholic worship sites: the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Joseph in San Jose with healing priest Fr. Nelson Osorio, OSJ; the Church of St. James the Apostle in Ibaan; the Basilica Minore of the Infant Jesus and Immaculate Conception in Batangas City, which houses the original image of the Santo Niño ng Batangan; the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Bauan; the Basilica of St. Martin de Tours in Taal, declared a National Shrine in 1974; the Shrine of Our Lady of St. Raphael Archangel in Calaca, which boasts one of the best preserved church interiors in the province.
