How do you measure a year in a life?

WORDS WORTH - Mons Romulo -

Each day, each month, each year that passes by is gone forever. There is no turning back the hands of time. I myself have received so many blessings this past years. No amount of success and money can take away the happiness of knowing my love ones and I are in good health and sharing happy moments together. I have learned and am trying to live each moment in my life thanking our Lord and sharing my blessings to those who need it, creating beautiful memories for my children to look back on and doing whatever positive contribution I can give as a citizen of our country. Our life is a gift from God so we have to give it our best!

Rent runs at the Carlos P.Romulo auditorium Feb. 5 to 28.

Fredison Lo, stage actor

Life is measured by the “marks” you leave in people’s hearts and minds and the memories you make with them, because in the end, when your body is rotten and six feet under the ground, that’s all that’ll matter. A life is meaningless when it is not remembered.

Robbie Guevara, director

I used to measure life by the number of shows that I do or watch but not anymore.

Oj Mariano, stage actor

By the number of people’s lives you’ve touched. Cliché as it may be “no man is an island” so we need to spread the love we have in ourselves to as many as we can.

Carla Guevarra Laforteza, stage actor

I measure life in love and hope. I wake up each morning knowing that it is a brand-new day and thankful that I have lived to see this day. Then I treat it as if it were the last day on earth by making the most of it and doing everything I can to make each moment count, because you never know if you’ll be alive tomorrow to witness and be part of a new day. No day but today indeed.

Job Bautista, stage actor

By the moments of love and happiness I have shared with others around me and by the lives I was able to change for good.

Jennifer Villegas, stage actor

I would like to believe that my life is measured in love. When what I think, say or do are driven by love, then I’m able to live each day of my life to the fullest and every day of my life becomes worth living.

Gian Magdangal, TV personality/stage actor

By how many times I see my son smile; by how many “thank you’s” I receive from people and strangers I help and make happy; by how many birthday celebrations I still have with my family and loved ones and by how much I enjoy hugging and saying “I love you” to my special someone every night before I sleep.

Noel Rayos, stage actor

By how many people I’ve made happy before the end of my career.

Cara Barredo, stage actor

The smiles I give to people dear to me and the smiles I receive from people I barely know tell me how my life is, not necessarily for the whole year but for every blessed day God has given.

Nicole Laurel Asensio, vocalist, stage actor

Those of us who watch closely may only see sunlight and night circle by never knowing that every second expires. When we view every moment from an almost blending distance, only then do we realize there’s never enough to be thankful for, never enough reasons to be alive.
