'The Power to Change Everything' author Yehuda Berg in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Best-selling author Yehuda Berg comes to Manila on Jan. 18, 2010 to present his new book, The Power to Change Everything.

First launched in the United States last Nov. 9, The Power to Change Everything focuses on how our consciousness and our actions determine the quality of our lives and the condition of our world. It follows Yehuda’s other best sellers, The Power of Kabbalah and The 72 Names of God, books that made him among the most popular inspirational speakers on the subject of spirituality.

Yehuda specifically chose Manila to begin his Asian tour to spread his message of hope in the aftermath of the devastating typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng that hit Metro Manila and Northern Luzon. A renowned authority on Kabbalah, called “the people’s Kabbalist,” he teaches that by transforming our personal issues we can create positive change in the world. He has taught thousands of people including celebrities, dignitaries and even prison inmates, and was recently honored as an “Agent of Change” by GQ magazine, in the category of Education, under the sponsorship of Gentleman’s Fund 2009 Ambassador Ashton Kutcher and UNICEF.

According to Yehuda, the world has reached a turning point in history and we can either choose to change, or remain the same and watch things get worse. Our short-term thinking and lack of awareness of personal power is wreaking havoc on the planet.

In his latest book, The Power to Change Everything, Yehuda examines the problematic areas of politics, religion, environment and economy and points out our most common and collective blind spots. Drawing from the context of current events, personal experience and old parables, he makes the case that we ourselves created the suffering that exists in this world.
