A new SM Hypermarket opens in SM Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines - Residents in the south metro area can now enjoy an exciting one-stop shopping experience that’s closer to home with the opening of the new SM Hypermarket at SM Center Las Piñas along the Alabang Zapote Road.
The 5,500-square-meter store is the 17th branch of the growing SM Hypermarket chain, and is the major anchor in the newly opened shopping mall. Modern interiors, color coded sections enhance the shopping experience, while conveniences like extended shopping bonus (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and over 40 checkout counters will make a shopping a breeze. Customers can also look forward to the friendly and “happy to be of services” attitude of its customer assistants.
Bishop Jesse Mercado of the diocese of Parañaque and Mrs. Felicidad Sy led the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new branch. Las Piñas Vice Mayor Henry C. Medina, wife of Mayor Imelda Aguilar, SM Supermarket president Herbert T. Sy, SM Hypermarket EVP Robert Kwee, brgy. chairman Ruben Sanchez, and celebrity Roxanne Guinoo also joined them.
Other guests included Mark Villar, Unilever Food Solutions managing director Zafer Unver, Unilever Food Solutions sales director Frederico Pricolo, Unilever corporate affairs director Chito Macapagal, and Kimberly-Clark sales director Ashwin Nagpal. Other celebrity guests were Dino Guevarra and Jodi Sta. Maria Lacson.

It also has magazines, an ice cream station, and infant’s milk in its Hyper Shops. While shopping at the new Hypermarket, customers can also enjoy eating out at the Hyper Food Court.
