Zee Lifestyle's annual fashion issue
MANILA, Philippines - Zee Lifestyle, the premier lifestyle magazine of Cebu and Davao, unveils its annual fashion issue this August. Headlining the issue is Zee’s cover story on Dubai-based Cebuano fashion designer Furne One who caught the eye of supermodel Heidi Klum in Munich, Germany and other fashion insiders at this year’s Miami Fashion Week. With his decidedly decadent designs, Furne bagged the coveted Designers’ Choice Award at the Miami Moda and Music Awards.
Zee not only celebrates established designers, it supports new talents as well with its feature on five Cebuano clothing and accessories designers: Mary Ty, Lionel Sanchez, Noreen Tseng, Mique Yapching and Jamie Zanoria in The Class of 2009. And because fashion is as much about the past as it is about the present and the future, Zee also has a nostalgic fashion story, Cecilia Brainard’s “Lola Remedios and Her Sayas.”
From fashionable faces, Zee turns to fashionable places. It visits five designers’ ateliers and sees the places that simultaneously inspire and are inspired by the designers’ oeuvres.
