A new look for Kultura Filipino at SM Mall of Asia
MANILA, Philippines – A bigger and more exciting Kultura Filipino recently opened its doors to the public at SM Mall of Asia. Located at the Main Mall’s second level, the 1,160-square-meter store has an updated look with minimalist interiors, subtle lighting, and sleek display shelves to highlight its exquisitely crafted items. It also has a new home section featuring the latest collection of the Association of Negros Producers.
RC Development Corporation president Carmen Yulo, interior designer and television host Tessa Prieto Valdes, and Kultura’s VP for operations Ivy Yap shared honors during the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Guests included members of the local expat community and foreign clubs such as Jill Beckingham, wife of the British Ambassador; Belen Laborda Mira, wife of the Spanish counselor; Eugenia Yarad, Romina Cereseto, Lorraine Casey; and Sol Lofton. Renowned Filipino lifestyle designers like Chito Vijandre and Ricky Toledo of Firma; Josephine Locsin of the Association of Negros Producers; fashion designer Nono Palmos; Jun Allanigue of Marietta’s Embroidery; Angelie Salcedo of Angelie Glass; Pinky Yang of Pinq Treasures and Roman Ripoll of Tabaquiera de Filipino also graced the occasion. SM officials led by SM Retail president Teresita Sy-Coson welcomed them.
Kultura Filipino today is known as the largest Filipino lifestyle retail chain offering indigenous and well- crafted products from all over the Philippines. The store also offers forex, giftwrapping, delivery, and online reservation services.
