Celebrate Chinese New Year at Robinsons Malls
For most people, the Chinese New Year is simply anticipated by cleaning their houses from top to bottom, purchasing new clothes, paying off debts, painting their doors and window panes, and even getting a new haircut.
Robinsons Malls invite everyone to join their grand Chinese New Year celebration today at selected Robinsons Malls nationwide.
In Robinsons Metro East an expert palm reader will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a future foretelling using a combination of traditional and modern predictive techniques. There will also be a special Chinese dance performance at 4 p.m. In Robinsons Place Manila, a feng shui expert will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Chinese dance performance at 4 p.m.
And if you are looking for Chinese treats, drop by Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila and try their regular niangao tikoy (750 grams box at P288) and fish-shaped tikoy nian nian you yu (P328 a box). There are also set menu offerings at the hotel’s Xin Tian Di Restaurant starting today until to Feb. 9. There’s the popular and lucky yu sheng salad made of tossed raw fish and vegetable, and there is chuen hop filled with dried fruits, candies and sweets are available
The hotel will also have a dragon and lion dance performance on Jan. 26. There will also be a Chinese arts and crafts course for kids on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 7 and 8.
