A Christmas musical with TLC
The Learning Child (TLC) School students will present Amazing Love on Dec. 13 at De La Salle Zobel’s Sylvia Lina Theater in Alabang. This year’s program follows the huge success of last year’s A Child’s Christmas, an elaborate musical performed by the entire student body at Insurance Life Theater in Alabang. The presentation is TLC’s biggest event of the year.
The Learning Child (TLC) School offers preschool and elementary education for both regular students, children with special needs and learning disabilities. It promotes strong values and a guidance program by maintaining a low student-teacher ratio. TLC students are between the ages of two-and-half and 13, children of young parents 25 to 45 years old, and are part of a growing community.
Its flagship program is anchored on math and reading, where students have been enjoying various programs and activities supported by the kumon system of teaching and by Scholastic, an organization that advocates reading at different levels. There are currently 266 students enrolled at TLC for schoolyear 2008-2009.
The TLC Parents Association is deeply committed to support the school and its activities, to ensure a well-rounded development of the children, believing that every individual has the ability to create for himself a rich, meaningful life if one possesses a solid sense of self-esteem.
