"If I could make them more beautiful, I could give them more power. I understood early that beauty was power!" Kevyn Aucoin, US makeup expert
Glowing skin. Lustrous hair. Luminous eyes. Luscious lips. Sparkling teeth. Killer legs. Gentle hands. Graceful movements. Sexy curves. Gorgeous body. For most of us, these represent beauty. But real beauty is more than just what is seen on the outside. It is the sum total of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual essences of a human being.
Anyone can be beautiful. We were all born beautiful. All we need to do is to unfold, unravel and reveal the divinity and beauty that we already possess. Heres how:
1) BE BEAUTIFUL IN YOUR EYES.
Everything starts from believing. Believe you are beautiful and you will be beautiful. Really beautiful people have great self-confidence, high self-esteem and a solid sense of importance and self-worth.
2) THINK BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS.
What you think is what you are. If you think beautiful thoughts, they will radiate in your countenance, your actions and your deeds. Instill in your mind that life is wonderful and extravagantly blessed with beauty and goodness. Like a beautiful, priceless painting, you need a good frame a really good frame of mind.
3) BE KIND, CONSIDERATE AND GIVING.
Kindness, consideration and generosity make you beautiful within. These qualities make you caring, forgiving and connected to people. Being considerate to others makes your compassionate heart shine through an aura of largesse and goodness. Nothing attracts like kindness and generosity.
4) BEHAVE BEAUTIFULLY.
Your state of mind, breeding, education and quality of heart reveal themselves through your actions. Your movement, body language, manner of speech and choice of words divulge the real you and often betray your hidden, secret self. Good behavior is more than just knowing which fork and knife to use for a particular course in a grand dinner. It is behaving beautifully even during your most unguarded moments.
5) HAVE BEAUTIFUL, EXPRESSIVE EYES.
When people are asked what it is that they notice first in a person, they reply, "The eyes!" Your eyes are the windows of your soul. They reveal if you are happy, sad, afraid, confident, ecstatic, puzzled, irritated, angry or guilty.
The beauty that you see around you is reflected in your eyes. Look at the world with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, the loving concern of a parent and the enlightened wisdom of a sage. Express enthusiastic optimism through your eyes and they will sparkle like diamonds and shine brightly like the stars!
6) HAVE A CLEAR CONSCIENCE.
There is no beauty potion as effective as a clear conscience. When your heart is clean, you can face anyone and your aura will shine with great transparency and luminosity. How you feel inside has everything to do with how you look on the outside. A dark heart will always show and more so will a guilty conscience.
7) WEAR AN IMAGINARY CROWN.
What is the difference between you and Prince William or Princess Stephanie? The crown or tiara on their heads! Royals are made to realize when they are very young that they are extra special. And those glittering, jewel-encrusted crowns on their heads signify their being so. Thats why they think, feel and act differently from commoners.
Wear an imaginary crown. Pretend you are a prince or a princess. It will effect a marked, regal difference on your posture, manner of conduct and bearing. Of course, the most brilliant crown anyone can ever wear is an intelligent mind!
8) ACCENTUATE YOUR BEST ASSETS.
There is always something about you that people notice most and compliment you for.
Zoom in on that and accentuate it even more. It will be your unique personal attribute or trait that will make you be stand out from the crowd and make you be noticed and remembered. Accentuate your best assets and downplay your flaws and insecurities.
9) DEVELOP A SENSE OF PERSONAL STYLE.
Your personal style is your unique personal statement. It is an exclusive canvas on which you paint your distinctive personality and flair. Some of the most unforgettable people who ever lived had a great sense of personal style Diana Vreeland, Ernest Hemingway, Coco Chanel, James Dean, Jackie Onassis and Princess Diana. Be unique; be yourself.
10) CELEBRATE YOUR BODY.
Discover your body, know its needs and find out its secret whims and desires. Your body has some real beauty friends cleansing water, energy-giving food, refreshing fruits, relaxing sleep, invigorating exercise, a job or occupation you enjoy, a loved one and your most cherished dreams.
Spoil yourself. Indulge in sensuous satin sheets, soft and cuddly pillows, seductive underwear, languorous baths, erotic massages, heady aromatics, ravishing perfumes and lavish luxuries. Celebrate your body with the pleasures of life everyday!
11) PROJECT THAT X-FACTOR.
No one can really define or pin down what that elusive X-factor is. You just know and feel it when somebody has it. It is actually the total impact of your attributes, qualities, traits and the way you carry yourself. It is the stunning combination of your inner fire, external appeal, self-confidence, projection, allure, chutzpah, joie de vivre, magnetism and charisma.
The X-factor is that amazing, attractive, endearing, enchanting, captivating, puzzling and intoxicating luminance perceived by others as your "aura."
12) FILL THE WORLD WITH LOVE.
When you are in love, you glow. You are in a glorious state of bliss and it will show in your eyes, your body, the words you speak and in every single thing you do. To love and be loved are the most potent elixirs in life.
When you summon the wells of love to gush and spring forth, you will discover that they are infinite and boundless. The more you love, the more love you have, and the more beautiful you become. Why? Because the true fountain of beauty is love!
