What coffee perks you up?

In You Got Mail, Meg Ryan laments how coffee bars have complicated our lives by giving us so many choices when all we want is a cup of coffee.
True enough, all around the world, people are making a series of decisions when ordering coffee hot, cold; short, tall, grande; with or without or medium foam; with or without chocolate drizzle (cinnamon perhaps?); whole milk, skimmed milk, half-and-half, low fat, etc.
The coffee culture in Metro Manila has many followers. They sip their cuppa javas the way wine connoisseurs do a tasting: with an informed palate and a nose for the best beans, roast, and other factors that affect the coffee shot.
With all the coffee bars in Manila, its a wonder nobody camps out to get the first shot of espresso in the morning. I myself cant resist the smell of a great cup of coffee. And I wondered, what kind of coffee perks up certified coffee drinkers?
Sherryl Yao, news reporter, GMA 7: I just cant get enough of the White Chocolate Mocha of Seattles Best Coffee. Rich and creamy, its a unique mocha blend topped with a generous amount of whipped cream and white chocolate shavings. So good that I always ask for extra sprinkles. A sip of this heavenly coffee is the perfect way to cap off a stressful day in the field.
Julius Babao, TV host, Alas Singko Y Media: The cappuccino of Dome Café kasi iba yung froth, which matters to me and to the taste of the coffee. The longer the froth stays, the better. Another place that serves good cappuccino is Segafredo. My gauge of a good coffee rests on how good they make cappuccino. Wherever I go anywhere in the world I always order their cappuccino to gauge if its a good coffee place.
Vina Morales, singer: Cappuccino of Starbucks and Seattles Best they have a distinct taste which I really love!
Pops Fernandez, TV host, singer: My favorite is American with coffee creamer and hazel nut syrup made just right in my house.
Victor De Leon Lima, DZMM anchor, Ang Inyong Kapatid sa Himpapawid: Pag nasa coverage ako at pangmasa, barako coffee or Blend 45. At saka gusto kong inumin ang kape sa sartin (latang baso). Pag sosyal naman ang coverage, latte.
Cathy Santamaria Escaño, homemaker: I really love the chilled Kape Latte of Bench. Thats the only coffee I drink and I can even finish a box. Whenever I go to the mall and I pass by a Bench store I never fail to get one. My kids love it too but since theyre still young, I just make them sip whenever Im drinking one. Its really, really good.
Architect Ramon Antonio: My favorite coffee is Blue Mountain at UCC Coffee House.
Anton San Diego, editor, Philippine Tatler: I read somewhere that how you view coffee is how you view sex. I am not sure if thats accurate and I might be divulging too much but I just love coffee! I probably drink about two to three cups a day and my preferred brands are Starbucks, Lavazza and Segafredo. If I dont have coffee, I get really grouchy! (Dont read between the lines!)
