What would you like written on your EPITAPH?

It was tough to get people to answer today’s question. It seems that when the topic is death, they would rather not think about it – much less talk about it. Of course, no matter what we do, we can never escape the reality of death – we will join our creator up there if we were good down here (if we were bad, well, that’s another interesting story).
Even people who accept death don’t want to think about how it will come knocking. As the writer Isaac Asimov said, "Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome."
Trying to be ready for death should make us strive to become better persons, make us live our lives to the fullest and spend more time with our loved ones because no one knows what tomorrow may bring.
Our annual commemoration on November 1 and 2 should remind us that, yes, life is short and that we should enjoy all the blessings we receive and take time to reflect on our lives. While we’re at it, we might as well think of what to put on our gravestone.
Here are some famous epitaphs appropriate for the people buried six feet under:
Hypochondriac: I told you I was sick.
Fortune-teller: I knew this was going to happen.
Lawyer: Here lies Attorney Joe Cruz. He lies and lies and lies.
Atheist: Here lies an atheist. All dressed up and no place to go.
Wife: Here lies my wife. So let her lie. Now she’s at rest. And so am I.
Shoe freak: She always said her feet were killing her. But nobody believed her.
Wrongly accused: Rest in peace, dear cousin Hewitt. We all know you didn’t do it.
For one who dyed and died: She was a suicide blonde. Dyed by her own hand.
Old fart: Here lies Joe Cruz, age 102. The good die young.
Jonathan Blake: Here lies the body of Jonathan Blake. Stepped on the gas. Instead of the brake.
